Happy Birthday Dad

This book

was beautiful and deserves a read by Kerry... after the dissertation is done.

Yay for tweeners

and the [hilarious/trashy/touching] novels they read. Kerry*, a creative writing teacher at BYU, is doing research on young adult novels and decided to expand her sample. Unfortunately, she's a bit under the gun and asked for volunteer helpers.

You mean... I can read random YA lit and get *thanked* for it? And maybe even get sugary goodness in exchange? You better believe I volunteered. And so, once my randomly assigned book gets here through UA's interlibrary loan, I will likely share a mini book report.

If any of you are interested in helping a sista out - and getting lots of love from me - mosey on over to Kerry's site and volunteer. Tell her I sent you. :)

*For those of you confused by my post dedicated to Kerry, browse thru some of her recent history. There sure are some interesting posters around BYU's campus.

For Kerry

... A poster you will never see on BYU's campus.
